Colorado Springs is a pretty cool town. I live in Denver, and I've been there a few times. One fun thing is the Cheyanne Mountain Zoo. They have a really cool exhibit where you can feed giraffes as well as all the other animals you expect. I think you can do a tour of NATO in cheyanne mountain, but im not sure, if you can I'd definitely do that. I'd recommend visiting the Broadmoor, its the nicest hotel in Colorado, and if you get a chance stay a night there just to see what its like. Theres a ton of shopping and stuff. Thats about it. Drive up to Denver, (about an hour and a half) go see art museums, hit Six Flags, Museum of Nature and Science. Maybe go to Pikes Peak.

I lived in Colorado Springs for 33 years. There is : Cheyene mtn. zoo - the only zoo in the world that is on a mountain. Go on top of pikes peak, take the cog railroad. Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy. 7 falls - 7 water falls coming off the mountains. Take a drive into the mountains, the leaves are changing colors.

You have to walk around the Garden of the Gods. The COG Railroad to the top of Pikes Peak is nice. The clubs downtown are fun. Check out the Cathedral at the Air Force Academy if it's open. And the giraffes at the Cheyenne mountain zoo are really cool. The NORAD tour was cancelled a few years back.
