My aunt's b/f won't leave. She has asked him not to contact her again but he phones 10 times a day, thinks she's in a bad mood and will get over it and when she doesn't answer the phone he then phones her mother. She has no resorted to insulting him which isn't doing anything either! Please please help before someone gets physically hurt!!!!

Phone the police and get a restraining order. Get your aunt to change her home phone number and get her mum to pretend to be a Chinese restaurant.

If your aunt (and her mother) have made it clear that they do not want any further contact with this guy, they should contact the police or the local prosecutor and get a personal protection order and / or restraining order against him. Then, if he attempts to contact her (or her mother) again, he can & should be arrested.

This kind of thing happens all the time and taking the legal course may be the only option. Most guys get the message but be alert to the fact that even a protection order won't stop some people.

Okay, assuming you have told him to stop contacting you, I would keep a record of every time he calls. Either on a caller I.D. or voice mails or something. Then I would call the police department, present the information and get a restraining order on him! Its not hard to do, all you need is evidence. It will be worht it in the end!!

I have been in this same situation twice, so I think I have a solution to your aunts problem.
Let your answering machine pick up in the automated computer voice each and every time he calls. Do not ever give in. Completely ignore him. It might take a while, but he will eventually give up. One of my past boyfriends called constantly for 3 months straight. every day. I ignored him, and he went away. She musn't ever give in to him. Somehow in their minds they think that they will be able to change our minds, and let them back in. Have her mother get caller ID so that she doesn't pick the phone up to talk to him either. Eventually he will catch on. Make sure to let your aunt know that she needs to ignore completely, No insults, nothing

If your Aunt hasn't done anything constructive maybe she enjoys the attention in a weird way. Ask her

Maybe she just should tell him if he don't leave her along she will call the cops and report him as stalking her. She does not have to do it but maybe it will scare him. She may have to really do something in case this man is not right up stairs.

If she is serious and wants him to stop bothering and harrassing her, tell her to get help! Contact womens aid in crisis or other support group before it gets physical.

very simple... it's called the police... tell your aunt to tell him, that if he calls one more time, that she will phone the police and put a restraining order on him..... if he continues, let the police handle him....

Perhaps she should write a letter laying it all out for him.
If he still doesn't get the message get a court order against him!!
