Bear in mind that the job of the media, worldwide, is to make money by selling papers or airtime. So they will always make a story as sensational as possible, as that is what sells! Frankly I believe about 25% of what I see on TV and 10% of what I read in newspapers; the only real use for most newspapers is to line the cat's litter tray!

Don't let some jumped up journalist spoil your plans; I'm sure he's quite happily using the airport!!

You need to live your life and know that when it is your time it is your time. Millions of people die in car accidents every year, so have you stopped driving? If you start cowering from life, you give the people doing these things exactly what they want. If it is your time to go, it will happen walking out your front door to get the mail. So stop worrying and get on with life. -- BTW London airports have been the target of terrorist threats for decades, this is not a new thing.

Get over it.

Pull yourself together and get on the plane.

I was on the London Underground within days of the bombs in London.

Don't be a victim, live your life and don't worry about every TV scare.

If you are really scared fly to a different airport.

Don't let the terrorists win.

Any kind of transport leaves you open to risk. Statistically I think that driving on a normal road in your own vehicle is probably more dangerous than air travel. It always was before, and probably still is.

Like the other person said, even crossing the road is tricky!

Life is full of danger all the time -

Eating - you could choke on something
In a shop - a maniac could attack you
Teacher/student - all you have to do is be in your classroom

If your referring to the Heathrow incident don't worry but if it will help and you are coming from Europe try getting a flight into London City Airport may be better for you.Flying is still safest compared to all other transport,Merry Christmas and enjoy your trip.
