If they have done it once, it is possible it was only a momentary weakness on their behalf and they truly do regret that it ever happened, therefore trust can be rebuilt.
However, if they have done it repeatedly, and lets not fool ourselves here, twice is repeatedly, they will do it again, therefore they are untrustworthy.
I can say this from experience as both a cheater, and the cheated. A leopard can change it's spots, but not within the context of the same relationship that they have already jeopardised by cheating on more than one occassion.

I am sorry once is a mistake twice is cake and eating it time, I would never get back with someone who cheated, no matter how much I loved them, trust is everything in a relationship

If my girlfriend cheated on me once I would bin her. If I did take pity on her and carry on the relationship and then she did again her bags would be waiting for her on the doorstep when she got home.
Just remember once can be but down to a mistake, twice well that's time to get rid.

It will be very difficult to trust him/her. Period.
But if you both believe in your relationship and have high hopes of chances, then it might take a long while to trust him/her again.
But never, will I be able to FULLY trust him.

no not at all. Unless a miracle happened that showed me I could. But I am a firm believer that once a cheater always a cheater.

No way my ex cheated a few times before I found out and when I did find out I kicked his a** out, and divorced him. Cheaters will always cheat they feel they can get away with it.

All it takes is one time.So if he or she cheated once and got away with it ,then it will never stop.
a cheater will always be a cheater. and u can never trust him or her.
The best thing to do is to move on b4 it gets worst

Absolutely NOT.
I firmly believe "once a cheater, always a cheater".
And honestly, once would be the ONLY time, because he'd be gone then.
