He is crying for attention. He wants the world to think he is the most powerful country in the world. He thinks by picking on the US he can show how great and powerful he is. But it is like a little kid trying to pick at a pit bull it might take it a while but when you get the dog mad it will bite.

Its not just N. Korea that hates the US, it’s the entire world! Except for the US puppets, i.e. UK, and Israel. The US loves to pick on small poor countries and steal from them (Iraq). The US doesn’t want a small country to rise up from poverty, such as N.Korea.
Now to answer your question about the leader of N.Korea, I can’t stand the American foreign policy however I do agree that the leader of N.Korea has to be stopped. He is even worse the Bush, and that says a lot!

The USA is hated by many leaders all around the world for its interference in the affairs of other countries. North Korea .in particular will never forget the Korean war and neither will the American, Australian, New Zealand and British military forces who had to go and fight. Many of whom didn't come back.

Well, I don't know what is the problem with N. Korea's Leader. But you can look it up at ask.com. I just think that there is no problem with them.Maybe he hate the U.S. because of what President Bush did at Iraq war.That's all I know sorry I could not answer your question.

The North Korean leader probably does not "hate" the United States. I've never heard that he does. He probably feels very vulnerable in light of the United States' history, power and politics. What he does that we believe makes the world more dangerous may, from his perspective, make his hold on power more secure (which is the seminal element in all political organization, including Amrerican administrations).

Probably because the US (MacArthur) wanted to nuke Korea during the Korean war. And when it saw it as being labeled as a part of the "Axis of Evil" Kim jong Il thought he had only one recourse.
And I thought he liked the swedish women? Perhaps he has had a change in taste, then.
