I know this is old, but Mexico has beaten Brazil in la Copa Confederaciones 2006: The score was 1-0. About two years ago, In the 2004 Gold Cup, they lost to Mexico in the final in double overtime 2-1. It was awesome! Both squads played awesome! At this moment, I don't think Brasil can be stopped.

OOO! WOW!! they beat mighty Ecuador 2-1! Put out the flags and let the party begin!
...in other words, big deal. They could and should beat Ecuador with only five men on the pitch. Judge them against a team in the world top 20 at least!

Well, I think that only the Brazilians themselves. The world cup went that way not because the French were better, but because the Brazilians didn't play as well as they know. Thus they stopped themselves from getting the sixth World cup. That was a pity!!! World cup final without Brazil isn't much fun!!!

Brazil is still ranked number 1. World cup is history. Look at how bad France is now. One of the worst teams in the uefa qualifiers right now.

To everybody answering "FRANCE"
You need to remember...in the 2006 World Cup, we had a different coach and different players. We didn't have Elano, Rafael Sobis, and most of the time, Robinho was benched. So...you can't compare two completely different teams.
