We'd all be hunters and gatherers. We'd live in small groups of 40 or fewer people. The total human population of the planet would be less than 200 million.

You'd spend 2-3 hours per day looking for food, and the rest chatting with your relatives. You'd live about 40 years, and by the end of your 40 years, your teeth would be worn to nubbins.

In a year in which more babies were born than old people died in the previous year, some of the babies would be "exposed," or some of the older teenagers would be encouraged to leave the family and start their own group elsewhere.

Everyone would be pretty lean. The oldest man or woman in the group would be the religious leader. The strongest man would be "chief."
