Either September 11, 2004 or December 13, 2005. Those dates have significant meaning to me because it is the day before my mother was diagnosed with cancer and the day before she passed away, respectively.

One question though before I go to my time machine. Am I allowed to do something that possibly could change the future? If I can, then I'd like to go back in time when Jesus Christ was performing miracles. Maybe I can change the course of our history from there. I probably would not allow those cunning Pharisees to prosecute him. Imagine their surprise if I bring along with me a video camera or something from the future, I'm sure they will think it as a miracle as well. But one thing, though, can I also bring with me a car and a driver. My gosh, it is hot down there, I don't want to die in the heat.

I would go sometime that i could accomplish something really interesting (important is relative).
So, either to the future (leaving a good savings account with all possible guaranties of interest) to see if they have accomplished clinical immortality and interplanetary travel yet.
Or even better, a day in the past to convince myself not to travel in the first place, and therefore make a paradox that allow me to shed some light in the workings of time travel ¿parallel universes, fate, free and abundant paradoxes?.
Some times small things are the more important :D

the trouble with living for a mere 70-100 years is that it's just long enough to get you interested...hooked... you're gonna wanna know what's gonna happen next, it's gotta be like reading the first half of a novel and then someone taking it away from you.
so, i'd go forward, say 100-150 years, just to see what comes next in terms of technological advancement, human evolution, socio-ecomnomic crap etc......the bit that's just out of reach.

i would go back to the era of giant beasts still roaming freely. To view giants in action would be worth the not coming back. maybe leave some glyphs of ancient tagging?

I would search for a future place in time where all knowledge is known and problems are solved. A place where we could be beings of pure light.
