You can get a 10 day free trial from anyone already using WoW. Anyone that has an account with them can log on their account and select recruit a friend and send out invitation to several people. A key code is given to each. Also if u have a friend that purchased the game, a free 10 day guest pass comes with it too. I can send an invite to you if you want...email me at dathtowngurll@yahoo.com

It is my understanding (and the way it worked for me) that the trial started when you first bought and installed the game.

But, it may make you list a credit card *anyway* because after the trial it *automatically* starts charging you.

You can get pre-paid cards at Amazon.com if you don't have a credit card.

you do not need a credit card.. go to the store and buy a game card. it's a prepaid card that costs $30. its for 2 months so don't worry, it's the same amount for everyone. but i'm not to sure if it will work with the trial, but thats how i do it without a credit card.

You need a credit card to use your 10-day trial. You can also purchase a prepaid card from Bestbuy if you don't have one, which means you've become a paying customer on a month to month basis.

Nope, no way around it. Even though it's free, you still need to have a CC number or prepaid card to play the 10-day trial. :-(
