Are they trying to attract young girls? I'd be embarassed because it makes girls seem frail. No one has really mentioned about their superficiality.

VERY gentle sounding boy singers makes me think of the Harlem Boys Choir ..... and hell yeah they are good! Then again it reminds me of the Vienna Boys Choir and they are also good! The way you worded your question with all of the " very, very, very " and " gentle " bothers me a bit and makes me wonder if you like " gentle boys " just a little too much!

I took a survey and the results were that using "very" four times before the word gentle is code for the word "fairy."

i like the male artists with soft romantic voices. like john mayor, ben harper, gavin degraw, jack johnson etc. their voices aren't particularly "high" like jesse mcartney or the backstreet boys or something...but they are really calming, and make you feel really good. anyways that is my opinion about it all!

Like that one... 'run away, turn away, run away, turn away...'? They do nothing for me, but then I'm a guy.

depends on the song... something romantic and meaningful I think that it works well... something screaming or something...not so well.
