Well your in for a treat with muse. I saw them at the Reading festival and they were brilliant. I always judge a band by their live performances. So many bands sound OK on the radio or CD, but when it comes to singing live you get to really find out what they're like. Ive also seen a hip hop band called Ugly Duckling a couple of times and they are great. Great rapport with the crowd and so funny. Definitely watch them if you get the chance

I saw Foo Fighters once upon a time. It was the best show I ever saw. Dave Grohl at one point told a lady to 'put your shirt back on- have some self-respect'~ and the opening band was the R.H.C.Peppers.

I highly recommend FooFighters as Phish no longer plays. Also Radiohead would prolably be a good show.

By far Tool and Nine inch nails are the two best live rock shows i've seen and i've seen more than 150 big bands/artists. I've seen tool 5 times and NIN 2. They both have the best sound(loud and clear) and have unbelieveable stage shows. Just the lighting rigs and whatnot are amazing. If you like hip-hop, MF DOOM and aesop rock.

Bon Jovi rock!!!!! But seeing as you just missed them, and they didnt manage London anyway (seeing as the "wonderful" new Wem-ber-lay Stadium was not ready)

Scissor Sisters would be a good one I reckon - Good luck with getting tickets tho...Think they sold out straight away, but I guess touts are selling them!?

Rolling Stones were brilliant and would be well worth one of their package deals to Chicago, NY or elsewhere...
Status Quo are going to tour this from November onwards, as they do every year!!

Etc. Look at a gig guide!!
