The usual signs... phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My
wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask
their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know
them."

I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always
walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has
gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi? I
once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went
berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was
I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep
down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out
again and I decided to really check on her. I decided I was going to park
my Harley Davidson motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it
so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was
at that moment, crouching behind my Harley, that I noticed that the valve
covers on my engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?

Wow, that was a hell of a story! You really got me at the end when you said your Harley was leaking oil. That is impossible with a Harley now a days.

P.S. Your old lady is NOT cheating on you. Now get out and ride that bike!

Harleys don't have valve covers. Rather the heads have rocker box covers. Maybe the wife is out trying to meet a real biker?

If you think she's having sex with another person, she probably is and is obviously had enough of you. Get to the bank account and take out your share before she takes it all. If she has a credit card in your name cancel it now!
It's very common for Harley's to leak and women to cheat. You are not the lone ranger. Get a grip on reality!!

That has got to be the most hilarious story I've read in a while!

If you are mechanically inclined (like do you work on other stuff), then replacing the valve cover gaskets should be no big deal for you.

Who knows, maybe your wife's new friend(s) could help you with it!

That was funny!, not that your wife was cheating, but the way you went from concern of infidelity to worry about the Harley.

Possibly it is the competition for your love, verses your Love of your Harley which your wife can not endure, and is why she is seeking refuge with another.

Please Love your Wife more than your Harley, your wife is real, and there is only one of her, your Harley is replaceable as there are many.

My heart goes out to you man........This happened to me too...I was sick to my stomach.......I didn't know what to do either. I quietly walked away...had a few beers and decided to take the matter into my owen hands. I fixed the bike myself and feel great about it. Not a hard job to do. Oh by the way , I polished my left boot when I kicked the old lady out. I can get another...but my Harley is my true love....and she won't cheat on me.

OMG, lol....you had me feeling all sorry for you, and then you say your motorcycle is leaking oil.

I guess if you can fix it yourself, I would, but if you cant, then take it to the dealer. Good Lord Man.....I felt bad for you.

If youre serious about the first part, then yea, shes cheating.

you went from thinking your wife is cheating on you to asking a question about valve covers, what's up with you man, first off yes you can fix them yourself, although you seem to have more important problems than that, get a grip man..
