Probably marijuana because of all of the illegal activity that is involved. Consider that drug smuggling funds many terrorists groups around the world and you've got your answer.

If I must choose between the two (because in my opinion both are very bad), I would have to say alcohol, because alcohol is perfectly fine for anyone to do ... unless you over do it. In many case's families get torn apart because of drunk parents, (mom or dad, or both). It ruins relationships, friendships, you can loose your job, your car, ... you can kill someone, and even go to jail. People who do marijuana are usually really messed up people, no offense but it's true. And in many case's there the people, civilized and "normal" people avoid and it's something most people don't get into if they have a stable family, job, good friends, etc. But with alcohol, it's a socially accepted thing. But if it gets out of control it can do alot of damage.

By far...Alcohol!!!
1. Drunk drivers cause more and more deaths on the road every year. How many accidents have you heard of where the person is JUST high on pot?
2. Alcohol makes some people more violent and abusive, so they get in fights or beat up their significant others. How many people have you seen fighting when JUST high on pot?
3. Alcohol affects peoples work..they call in sick, don't show up, do a poor job because they are still hung over. How many people call in because they got high the night before?
4. Alcohol is related to many, many illnesses. Pot just effects the lungs...and I really don't think it effects the lungs as much as cigarettes do.

Alcohol.
However, if marijuana were legalized, I'm sure we'd find that it led to distorted judgment behind the wheel of vehicles like alcohol, and to roadside litter, fires, and emphysema just like cigarettes.
Two wrongs don't make a right. I'd criminalize the sale of alcohol and tobacco too, rather than legalizing the sale of marijuana.

People like you. Ohhhhhhhh! jk, but I bet some peer pressured hippies will say that.
Of course, alchohol does more damage. Not only is is way more prevalent, but alchohol in itself is a valuable resource. You see, alchohol is the clean-burning alternative to gasoline. Every time we squander alchohol for our own bodily consumption, we only hurt our mother earth and her chances for survival.
Marijuana, on the other hand, is just a funny looking plant loved by social rejects.
Gosh, I'm so mean.

Alcohol, defienetly! If there was no alcohol a lot of people would be alive right now that have died at the hands of these idiotic drunk drivers. Alcohol can also kill you. There are no proven deaths from too much marajuana!

Marijuana because it stays in the system and the more you have the bigger the build up with long term problems.
Alcohol if you don't drink the next day will be gone, however heavy and long term drinking will destroy your liver.
