To admit their mistake now would cost them repuglican votes in the up coming election, you can see by the answers here that Rush Limbaugh has instilled his constituents with many not so facts and they are not going to change their minds until Rush does. Some of the answers are word for word what he has been saying on the radio. It just proves my theory that Most if not all repuglicans cannot or will not think for themselves. We have made a mess in Iraq, 60 more Iraqi body's found today in Baghdad. I think whether we stay or whether we leave makes little difference at this time. We are in a Vietnam sized quagmire. Damned if we do and damned if we don't. In answer to your question, I think yes the repuglicans do want to pull out but have no idea how, in order to save face.

Actually I havent "heard" anything. I "know" that the Republicans want to stay and finish establishing democracy in Iraq and rightly so. I have "heard" that there are some immature irrational dems out there that try and float these moronic false suppositions to try and fool their contemporaries. Never works on Repubs though.
