I used an Aloe Vera moisturizer lotion. Don't scratch it. But you can get a cool damp washcloth and lay on it when your laying down but just for a few minutes. If there is any redness keep an eye on it and if it gets worse go see the doctor. Enjoy every minute with that beautiful new child of yours. Good Luck.

Ever try using a moisturizer? Keri is very good although it can be expensive. You want to keep the skin on your abdomen moisturized because if it dries out it will begin to itch.

i also had a c section and was recomended to use vaseline intensive care hydrating skin care! it works wonders! dont use any creams or lotions that reduce scars until the wound has healed, otherwise you will get an infection.

No, just use vasoline intensive care, and keep applying or even advance heeling lotion, it will work keep applying it, or try opening a vitaman c capsual and apply the liquid from that it will also help!

If it's been a month you should be able to use anything on it. Why not start with a mederma scar cream- it's pricey but if you can reduce that scar why not?

Is there any reason you can't just use any old skin moisturizer? If you're worried it's not allowed b/c you're still healing, call your OB/GYN and ask.
