I've always thought they should use closed military bases that still have housing on them. They could have housed all of the Katrina victims there instead of waste money in hotels.

Where are the homeless? Who are the homeless? How will you contact the homeless? Who will set the buildings up? Where will the be set up? Who will maintain them? What about hookups for utilities and sewage removal? How will you get the homeless to use them, if all of the logistics are overcome?

A lot of homeless people are mentally ill. A lot of homeless people are drug addicts. You cannot deal with these people rationally.

Not everyone wants homeless people in their area, it also cost to house & feed them, just because there are buildings available not all homeless people want to be there.
