goes off at night & when traffick goes by .
can't find alarm system to make it ok ,
if anyone can help would be much appreciated !

darren most rover alarms are absolutely crap, but i suppose they act asd a deterrent. As for finding the alarm siren, its (if rover aint spent money upgrading) a horn like the one when you hit the steering wheel, hidden under the wing at the front, just behind the **** guard under the front indicator. you can disconnect this if you like and the alarm will work but no sound obvioulsy, If you do be careful because i think there is a horn on either side so you will have to find out which is the one you want. As for it going off at night and when traffic passes this is either due to a faulty jacking sensor or sensitive ultasonic tramsmitters inside the passenger area. I'm not to sure if they can be adjusted for sensitivity, so if the car isnt htat old, pull the fuse and get an after market one fitted
