Holding a grudge is one of the worst things that you can do as a person. We tend to hold grudges as a way of getting revenge on the person we're mad at...figuring, they'll be hurt for the fact that we're mad at them. However, the only person we're hurting is ourselves!
Being upset with somebody can easily affect your relationships with everybody else.
My advice to you is to sit down...by yourself...and really question everything that's going on. Who r u mad at? Y r u mad at them? Is it serious enough to STAY mad at them...is it worth it? Then, try to think of ways you can get over it...perhaps ways u can forgive this person for whatever it was that they've done.
And if all of that doesn't help, then just simply make it up in your mind that you're wasting your time, and that you don't want to feel like this anymore. Once you have that mindset, find something to do that will make u laugh...watch ur favorite comedic movie...look at some old pictures that bring back good memories so that you'll smile...break the ice for urself. Trust me, it will help.

Girls have a lot of emotion, no matter what age. I know this is the adolescent category, so I'm guessing you are one, but I just wanted to let you know it doesn't get any easier. I'm now 22 years old and I still go through moments of insanity. I was reading what the other girls were saying about going somewhere by yourself and I think that would be good for you. I have to do that sometimes, just to cool down and relax before confronting anyone, especially the person I'm mad at. After cooling down, you need to speak with the person that made you angry and then apologize to Alex. Just tell him its a girl thing and that you are better now. And don't let anyone tell you that your moods are because of PMS or being pregnant--especially guys! They just don't understand what we go through! We just happen to get emotional and believe it or not, its a good thing sometimes. It means we are more caring and kind than guys and we can feel what another person feels just by talking to them. Good luck, and remember its not gonna get any better.

I have had this discussion many times before with friends and family....it is called teenage hormones. I can guarentee that every girl goes through it. Everyone i know and have talked to agrees that all teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 19 become nasty, cranky monsters. I clearly remember becoming angry for no reason, stomping off into my room to be alone and having the smallest thing set me off. I dont know how anyone could have survived my attitude. I have a 6 month old daughter and i am scared for the teenage years lol. All i can say is spend time alone or around your girlfriends because they understand u whether u realize it or not. Take a hot bath, go for a walk but just remember this will pass trust me.

If Alex is ot the one you're ticked at, then you must be ticked at someone and taking it out on others. Work through your anger at the person. If things can be talked over, do that. If not, see a therapist OR see if you're strong enough to forgive because it is for our own spiritual, emotional and physical benefit, whether or not you ever even see that person again.

Take a look at why you are mad at your friend in the first place. Is it so important to hold a grudge for something stupid in the first place. If she is your best friend you need to take a look at life in the long run and see if you can't control your temper and apologize to her or visa verse
. Life is to short to have arguments and fights with your girl Friends and your boyfriends and your parents. As you grow older you will be wiser. You will look back at this and say that was stupid of me why was I so mad in the first place. Always remember to walk away when you start feeling upset. Taking walks will also give you time to think about what you did wrong or what they did wrong. Talk to them the way you would want to be talked to. Good Luck!

You need a cool down period with nobody around. Go to some quiet place and think about what's going on in your life and how you can change it. Also, you need to tell Alex you're sorry and it wasn't his fault. If he's really a friend, he could possibly help you out by talking it over with him. Talk to the one you are really mad at.
