Clinton Portis for Jacksonville (DEF) and Rueben Droughns

I would be getting portis. MY DEF's are chicago,jacksonville and denver and my trading partner only has Cleveland.

What other RBs are you carrying? If you can afford to lose Portis, who's injury-prone and will eventually lose even more carries to Betts, I would take the trade...especially if you need the D. I like Droughns myself, and he'll only get better. On a side note, the Dolphins just activated Sammy Morris and released Lee Suggs, so I can guarantee that Morris is available if you just need to add a RB.

Although Jacksonville does have a good Defense. Portis is playing against that bad Titans Defense this week and I think hes going to go off. Plus Droughns hasnt beendoing the best and has a BYE week 6. So if your looking to improve your team for the week my answer is no!

The banker needs to sweeten the pot.
He/she is trying to unload JAX because they just lost another key starter on defense, and have a bye. Droughns is just a guy. He had what, 2 TDs last year, and has done squadoosh this year. Their line blows too.
If you kept Portis through the injury so far, stick with him. They will start clicking, starting against TEN this week.
Hang on to Portis for a while. Be patient.

If you have a weak D then maybe...but droughns is a loser and portis will only get better with his health coming back

Droughns and Jax Def are not nearly enough for Portis. What are your other options from his team and yours?

No. Portis is a stud, and unless the D's in your league score a lot of points you will be kicking yourself.

its this simple... portis has 4 tds this season... tied for the most by a rb.... and he missed 2 games... KEEP PORTIS!

I have R. Droughns on my team and he is garbage!!!! And with defenses if I need a defense I pick from whatever team is available and who is playing a weak team....
So No, I would not make that trade!

do it . ..your gonna get the same points in the long run +~10 and your going to get one of the more stable defences in the league .... unless you have chicago
