The president of Argentina came into our country and called our elected leader, (who I incidentally hate), "the devil". Now the president of Argentina, who is a major shareholder of Argentinian owned Citco, is giving some of our poorest people free heating oil, which they rejected. Will you join them and me in totally boycotting Cico petrolium products? I am not asking this because of anything more than the fact an outsider had the nerve to waltz into our country and insult us, and the fact that there are some very cold, but proud Americans standing up to Argentina even when it truly hurts them to do it. If they can do it, let's join them.

It wasn't Argentina's president it was Venezuela's president.

I don't use Citgo oil anyway, so I'm in.

get a life...get some facts...maybe it's people like you who spout off without having their facts in order (not argentina, venezuela...not cico or citco, but citgo..not petrolium, but petroleum) that make people around the world just shake their heads and laugh at us...so what if chavez called bush the devil? he was insulting bush, not us...if you start boycotting companies because their owners say bad things about 'the shrub', you're gonna be cold, naked, and hungry for a good long time, because this is guy is despised by more people in THIS country than nixon! we have a free market, and a free society, thank you very much...i'll make my decisions on what and where to buy for my family without someone telling me what is the politically correct products and/or companies...besides, boycotting citgo won't hurt them in the slightest...

Its also Citgo, but I already don't buy from them, they usually aren't the cheapest.

I have to say though. If our president can go out there and insult him and other leaders, he has every right to say things about Bush.

As far as offering discounted heating oil to the poor, more power to him, you don't see any of our "allies" willing to do anything like that for our poor, nor any of our national leaders. Heck, most members of Congress and the President would rather see our poor out on the street with nowhere to turn rather than give up one penny from their tax breaks...

Heck I'm a bio-diesel guy already so no problem. Actually my sister is already up in Alaska and is assisting in making sure folks up there get their heating oil from the same dang people pumping it out of Alaska, so no worries they will be fine.
