She's a brunette. Her dad, (who also plays the dad on the show and is famous for singing achey breakey heart) also has brown hair. The plot of the show is that she wears a wig when she has to be Hannah Montana, and when she doesn't wear the blonde wig, she's just Miley. Miley Cyrus is going on tour and opening for the Cheetah Girls and is releasing an album this fall.

Acutally, not her real hair. She gets blonde highlights.
She wears a wig as Hannah Montana as you can see in many episodes because she
TAKES IT OFF.
Yet she doesn't take off her brown hair, and you could see the roots on it.
