They just want something to complain about, people are always complaining about black people and double standards. The double standards that they speak aren't really double standards.

I guess for the same reason that it is equally ok for some black people to call whites honkeys.Though, I never did get that or was insulted by it.But, I agree with you.We as a society of whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, middle easterners, gays, disabled, religiously diverse, and politically diverse need to stop using negative words to describe ourselves and each other.But hate and intolerance is sometimes easier then actually having tolerance and respect.

Because they are ignorant. I personally think that NOONE should say the n-word. But if you notice not only black ppl call each other that. Other ignorant wanna be hip thugs call each other that even if they are not black.
Also, you will notice that only ignorant black ppl call each other that. I bet you that colin powell never went up to condeleeza rice and said what up my n***a!
Its just an offensive word and it degrading, but thats what the hip hop culture is all about, degrading our women, supporting drugs, sex, and violence, and overall low life-ism (if thats a word)

Because those who ask this question are all a tad bit slow and lack the intelligence to know that the history behind that word is filled with hatred, anger and degradation. And if they arent ignorant to this fact & indeed know what damage this word has done and they STILL want to use it...then they are just a$$-holes.

its all a bunch of BS. black people just want something nobody else can have (or say). If our culture is trying to destroy racism crap like this cant be a problem. yeah its okay to have the NAACP, but if there was a NAAWP it would be racism. I am all for equality of all kinds, and to do that people must forgive and FORGET, when black people continue to use a derogatory word and then get pissed when someone uses it that "isnt supposed to" it just continues to prolong differences.
