Just a question I have.
Have any on you taken a test and looked at the results after the 10 minute mark? And if it had a positive result, were you really pregnant or was it wrong?

Alright this is for you smartasses out there. I know that after 10 minutes it is invalid. I'm just wondering. And so I asked. Now don't answer me like I'm stupid.

OK im not going to be a smart ***! It could very well be positive or negative. So your best bet would be, go get another test and try it again in a few days or whenever you want. Id say it was probably right, but just to be on the safe side, take another test. Good Luck.

THere is no such thing as a false positive on a test.
If you take a home pregnancy test and it reads positive, then you are pregnant. Sometimes, a test may come out positive and then you find yourself starting your period and thinking it was just a false positive. That is wrong. You were pregnant but are miscarrying. A lot of women misscary and don't even know it because they didn't take a test to find out if they were pregnant. A doctors office uses a pregnancy test just like the ones you would buy in the store. There no better than the store bought ones. I have relatives that work in doctors offices. I know.
So the only way to make sure your pregnant when a test comes back negative is to get a blood test done.
THere are such things as false negatives. You take a test and it comes out negative and you are actually pregnant. Some test, it takes a lot longer for it to show up. A women may have low hormone levels in the beginning of the pregnancy. With both of my pregnancys it took 3 weeks for it to show up on a test. I just knew I was pregnant so kept taking a test every week.
Pregnancy test aren't wrong.
Your either pregnant or your not.
It's either positive and your pregnant or negative and you need to wait a while to take it again when your homone levels are higher and the test can read it.
There are no such things as false positives.

You may very well be pregnant. Personally, in my own experience, I've never had a negative test turn positive after the 10 minute mark. My doctor also told me that false negatives are more common than false positives.
Good luck!

I've used the First Response pregnancy test several times.
Every time I wasn't pregnant, it was always only one line and this time it was two lines, so I knew it was true for sure cuz it was never wrong before. Plus I took like 3 different tests just to be sure. I did look at it after 10 minutes and it was still positive, if you are prego for sure, that line wont disappear.

Yes this has happened to me. I took the tests (Clearblue) and (First Response) both showed negative until 15 mins afterwards. I was and am pregnant. Its weird and I know people say you should`nt look after 10 minutes but we all do it. In all fairness a few months ago I used interent cheapie tests and they did that after 10 mins but that time I was not pregnant so it was a famous evaporation line.

well, it depends if it was there before the 10 minute mark. I know I looked at mine at like 2 minutes and it was positive and like 30 minutes later actually (after the shock) it was still positive. Good Luck

I used a home preg test kit; it was positive. I also went to the doctor to make sure - it was positive also. I wouldn't rely just on the kit alone.
