... if any of them are over 21 by then, will they still be allowed to play?

Yes they can play as long as they were under 21 and registered when the competition officially started from qualifiers, e.g. the under 21 captain Nigel Reo Coker is 22, but he was 21 or under at the start date of the competition, i think the oldest you could be is just over 23 by the time the competition is over. Nope, not now David Bentley is too old to play, he was the creative spark for the under-21's. Now under the influence by Mark Hughes, he's becoming the player Arsenal thought he would be... he's playing better football than Lampard, Downing, Wright-Phillips & Gerrard at the mo... should deffinately get a look-in, in the full England squad, but he won't because he doesn't play for a team in the top 4...

Don't think Darren Ambrose & Nigel Reo-Coker are allowed to play now either.

I think they will be allowed because the competition started with any of them inside the qualifing ages

Yes, they are allowed a number of overage players, there were a couple in the last match. Hope that helps.

No, the rules are quite strict on that. The second you turn 21, you are inelligable to play
