Before Ipods ruled the world, I bought an MP3 player when they were first out on the market. It's a 64MB player- I told you it was old. Anyway, I'm in the market for a new fangled MP3 player with video play back. I have never been one to follow a trend but Ipods seem to be the way to go especially since they have all these really cool accessories to go with them(docking stations with speakers, armbands for running, etc...). I do plan on working out with the player along with using it on long car rides (I can use the tape deck thing people use to use for CD players when they first came out), on planes, and on bus rides. But I have a ton of non-Itunes music. I would prefer one with a large memory (I was looking at a 30GB) but I've heard those don't work well with people who work out. I really need some good advice on which MP3 player to buy.

there are two types of mp3 players on the market. One is called a flash memory based player, these are small capacity player but because they don't have any moving parts they are ideal for those with "active lifestyle" such as jogging ,sports or in use in a gym.
The maximum capacity is 8 gigs. most play mp3's,have FM radios and voice recorders. The other type are hard drive players, they have high capacity storage (30-160 gigs), these units will play music as well as play video's(since video files take up allot of space).Since you already have your music files in mp3 format already i would suggest you NOT buy an ipod.Ipods can use only one program called itunes to import your music to your player.Itunes will take your mp3's and place a lock on your files so that your music will be proprietary owned by apple.Which means that later on if you want to play your mp3's on a different player it won't be possible, apple will force you to use their own players. Also itunes has many reported bugs and it is known to lead to crash computer systems. Two good players are available
one is the creative vision:m which can play video and audio, its 30 gigs and has a large following, another player if you just want an audio player is the iaudio/cowon X5 its 30 gigs but it is more geared to audio (because it plays more audio formats). Both are hard drive players and the software makes it easy to import your music to these units .good luck in your search

I upgraded my old Archos Jukebox to an iPod not too long ago, and I couldn't be happier. It's powerful, simple, and worry-free. Plus, since everything in the world (from automobiles to sunglasses to jackets to backpacks) seems to be catering to the iPod these days, it's got endless accessories.
Mine is 40GB and I've never had a speck of trouble while working out with it. All in all, I'm very impressed.

He made his very own mattress; he can sleep in it. He took earnings of your type, loving (and slightly responsible) nature. sell the Xbox and use it in direction of a down fee on a flat. Be arranged for all of the nasty issues he's going to declare. you are the person here. you will could suck it in and stand organization. while you're nonetheless unsure, talk on your older brothers and ask their opinions.
