I find that over washing and under washing can make things much worse. Once in the morning and once at nught should be good enough (unless you were out jogging and really sweaty or something). Find a good cleanser/toner/moisturizing combo. Use it regularly and DRINK WATER!!!! That is one of the best things you can possibly do to help keep your skin clear and bright

First of all, don't compare your self to those girls. I have your problem, and I used to compare but it will only depress you. I look like I haven't slept a day in 2 lifetimes. Just faithfully wear concealer, not too much or it will go cakey. Put just a little dab on the pad of your ring finger and just dab it on lightly. Try layering 2 types of concealer. Sometimes that helps. Also put another little dab on your actual eyelid because that will wake your eyes up as well. Try putting a little dab of a light shimmery eyeshadow(not too shimmery) on the inside and outside corner of your eyes. It reflects light to make your eyeslook bigger. You can also buy a concealer made especially for dark circles(maybelline makes a good one). What else can I tell you? Always remember to apply a pressed powder (or loose) over your concealer to help make it look natural. Just remember less is more! I sincerley wish you luck and if you find a miricle for the circles TELL ME! Good Luck!

Honey... I used to do the same thing too. Those girls at your school just won the genetic lotto. Don't compare yourself to them or to people in fashion magazines. Have confidence in yourself. This is only temporary.
Have you thought about going to a dermatologist? I used to take all sorts of pills and creams from the dermatologist. What worked best for me when I was in high school was Acutain. It's really harsh & I recommend it as a last resort. You need to be on birth control to take it, it dries out your entire body, and you need to stay out of the of sun. One of my side effects were nose bleeds because of the dryness, but after all that my skin started to clear.
I'm 29 years, and a few months ago went through a divorce. I looked like what you have just described. My eyes looked like I was on crack. Dark circles, no sleep, pimples from stress & uneven skin tone. I was looking for skin care but didn't know what to buy. I came across an Avon book. Their prices looked pretty good so my mom and I placed on order. (I’m back at the nest now) I bought a glycolic chemical peel, anew alternative night cream, a toner, and eye cream for dark circles and wrinkles. After about two weeks my friend said to me "wow...you don't look like crap anymore". & she was right. My skin did look better. When I ran out of product, instead of placing a new order, I signed up to be a Rep. If you like I can send you some samples of what I have used. Also I have been reading this book on skin care. It has great information about all skin types, a skin type test, and has product recommendations. Send me an email if you are interested.
Good Luck!

I know its going to sound really weird but good skin is as simple as practicing good nutrition, getting plenty of rest, and washing your face twice a day with an face soap and then applying a small amount of PALMERS COCOA BUTTER. I know you said your face is oily but washing it with a face soap dries it out and you need to put some kind of moisture back into to your skin. Also don't spend money on false advertisement in things that take months and months for the results to show. Trust me this is the safest, best, most inexpensive way to bring out the beauty that's already their!!! If all fails maybe you can see a local dermatologist!!

There is a great product that is out there and has many different skin care levels. The company is called Arbonne. They use all natural products and the results are awsome! I would definitly suggest a line that they have called Clear Advantage set, It would definitly clear your blemishes and your oily skin and then after your skin has made that change they have another product line called NutriMinC RE9 that you could probably change over to after you have transformed your skin tones. If you a curious about it contact me and I'll tell you more about it. melissare4@sbcglobal.net

Don't look at airbrush magazine images or other women to define you.
Just work on the things that you can improve about you, and skin is one of them.
If you have oily skin, you need to stay away from:
Greasy or fried foods, this means french fries!
Any creams or face washes that add more moisture.
Junk food that has alot of trans oily fats in it it.
What your skin needs is:
Water, drink lots of it.
Nuetragena face wash for oily skin.
Oil of Olay for combo/oil skin.
Steam face, to help reduce dark circles and uneven...
REST... make sure you're getting a good nights rest.
ALSO great bonus for oily skin, are those OXY cleaning pads, that can help remove oil and dirt.
Make sure you never got to bed, w/o washing your face at night, you will be surprised at the difference that can make!
And lastly... get your self some Vitamin E pills to take, their great for skin blemishes and complexion.
Come Face Forward, you can do this!!!
No airbrush needed.

Well drink lots of water. The dark circles are a part of life. I have them too. What I do is in the morning wash your face with cold water not warm. Then have an ice-pack or coke bottle or something cold ready and hold it under your eye for about a min. Next put some moisturizer under your eyes. Then before you put on your foundation apply some cover up. Lighter color then your foundation about to colors. If you don’t wear foundation than 2 shades lighter than your powder. Apply the cover-up right under your eye and on the dark circles. Put dots on the cover up and don’t rub it in...Dot it with your finger till it is all rubbed in. If you wear foundation put it on next if not then put powder on right over it. That is for your dark circles and the foundation is for airbrushed skin. I would recommend lancome's foundation teint idole ultra. And for cover-up loeral true match [you can buy that in the drugstores]. Then for bright skin you either want bronzer or blush. Blush is more natural and bronzer is more sun-kissed beach look, tan looking. For blush I would recommend Benefits blush they have amazing blushes that come in little boxes they only have one shade so you will be fine. But the color works for everyone it is very natural [you can get that at sephora or cosmetic market] Bronzer- Lancome has a bronzer just ask for there bronzer and they will match you up. If you use bronzer apply that on your forehead, apples of your cheeks, nose, and your chin. If you use blush apply that to your cheeks, smile and put it right there. Use cetaphil soap you can buy that at the drugstore wash your face with that night and morning. And your face with clear up. Cetaphil moisturizer is good to apply that at night for soft skin. You can either get the blue bottle that is for regular skin or the green for dry and oily skin. Hope that helps.
