I've already done a wheel alignment, and balance the tires.

First of all, I have to give the obligatory "what are you stupid?" kind of speech. Don't mess around going 100+ mph. I know it's fun (I've done it too) but it's incredibly dangerous.

The reason why you're shifting all over (another reason why it's so dangerous) is because of the wind. First of all, wind alone is capable of blowing a car off the road. At 100mph, the force of air underneathe of the car is making it lighter, so it'll take much less side-to-side wind to blast you off the road--this is all assuming that you're not blowing past traffic. That's a whole other story as A) you're now endangering their lives as well and B) the wind resitance their car is experiencing is mixing up the wind behind and to the side of them, making it more turbulent. Think of a boat's wake. You wouldn't rip through the wake of a boat going 100mph on the water, would you? The same principle works too if it's a bigger vehicle or truck (like a bigger boat). They're displacing a lot more air, and most of it's going into your lane. That is one of the reasons you will be moving all over the place and it's not something you can control.

Also, if you have any body mods or a wing, that could be an issue too. While they may look like it, these body kits aren't meant for anything more than looks in most cases. They're not built to be aerodynamic like a race-car will, where air flow can make or break a race at 100+mph. The wing, depending on FWD or RWD is more of a hinderance as well. For he most part, I doubt you've tuned the wing to the proper degree to account for downforce...actually, I don't believe you can like a race-car can. Also, if it's a FWD, it's probably going to kill you as donwforce in the back is now taking traction away from your drive and steering wheels.

You also need to consider road imperfections. Highways are not meant for 100mph travel like race tracks are. What may seem like a small bump one day at 65mph while you're driving normally could be devastating at 100mph. Consider the "crown" in the middle of the road as well that's meant for getting rain to run off the highway and onto the shoulder.

Look, I like speeding as much as the next guy, but the key to being a speed-head or a dangerous ****** is responsibility. Take your car to the strip or an oval. There, you can tear it up without worrying about a mini-van full of kids pulling into your lane. Think about it...how can someone not expecting speed racer to blow by them honestly see a vehicle in a 3 inch mirror that's coming up on them at 50+ more mph than they're going? Someone's not going to see you one day and it's going to be ugly. And honestly, you're best hope for not killing someone else is a deer in the road, in which case, it will kill you and the deer, but no one else.

first off you are going too fast...slow down unless you have a death wish. secondly it is possible that the cars suspension is not built to actually go that fast...just because the speedometer says 120 or what ever it says doesn't mean the car can actually handle this speed. Maybe next time you get in your car you should tell your loved ones you love them...from the sounds of it you may not see them again if you drive this way.

Aerodynamics...maybe...Your vehicle trying to save your life/driving record...maybe...Unsteady grip on steering wheel due to distractions(cell phone, radio controls) possibly, a street car designed to operate at a set speed limit by a manufacturer....I'd suggest my last answer....But hey, drag strips and some race tracks will allow you to "run what ya brung" if you like that sort of thing. Life is fast, be careful.

Wind is forced over the car at 100 mph from forward motion. As the wind and heat cause disruption in that air flow it causes the car to wash from one side to another. That is why a funny car is just a little slower then a top fuel car.

Is there slop in the steering? Are your tires properly inflated? Are your wheel bearings worn out?I won't tell you to slow down, you probably wouldn't listen.Check your front end.

what kind of car do you drive, certain cars tend to veer side to side at high rates of speed. Is your car a recently new car or did you have this car for a long time?

Because you're driving too fast, and that probably decreases your ability to control the car, especially if you have power steering. (I have noticed that when I drive a car with power steering, I wobble more than when I drive one without.)

maybe you too heavy - you should then place a 100kg sack of spuds on the front passenger seat.
