The currency is not Euro but they will accept euros in most places along with sterling and dollars. That applies to both north and south Cyprus.

Sometimes they do accept Euro in Cyprus, on the Greek side. Turkish side, no.

No. They are a member of the European Union, but still use their own Pound as their monetary unit.
