I just got my iPod about 2 months ago. When I listen to it, it seems the battery life is always never full. I am going on a trip to another state tomorrow, and I need to know this... I have about 130 songs on my iPod, if I cut the number of songs down, will the battery last longer? I already turned my backlight off to save some energy.

Thanks,
Jesse

its not the amount of songs that you have on your ipod that can change the length of battery life. If you make should you run it out till it turns it self off. The charge it full. Make sure you don't do a half charge. That can help.

It is not the amount of songs you get that makes the batteries of an i-pod last quicker. Its how much you play.....if you want to recharge it i suggest using a back up battery pack by belkins. You dont have 2 hook it up anywhere or nothin. You just need batteries with the back up battery pack.

MAYBE TE BATTERY HAS A LOADING PROBLEM.GO TO THE SHOP WHERE YOU GOT IT FROM AND HAVE IT CHECKED.
I GOT ONE WITH A HUGE MEMORY:5000 SONGS:IT TAKES ONE HOUR TO FULLY LOAD AND MORE THAN A WEEK BEFORE IT STOPS PLAYING.I USE IT LIKE 7,8 HOURS A DAY.
DO IT,HAVE IT CHECKED,DO NOT FORGET YOU HAVE WARRANTY ON THE I-PODS.....
