How Do You Make A Podcast (On A Mac)?

Question

I have a Mac and I use iLife '06 (iTunes, Garageband, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, and iPhoto), and I know how to record a podcast on Garageband, but then what do I do with it. Also, I have already signed up for the podcast on the iTunes music store, so if you look me up, my podcast is there but I don't know how to get any episodes on! Thanks!

I already bought iLife, but I'd like the rest of the process in making the podcast to be free. Thank you!
