Yep. Get along great. And since I've gotten along with hers and she with mine, they have become friends as well.
This makes holidays, kid watching and everything else so much easier.

I love my husband. Since he can never be detached from his family so from day one i had decided no matter what i will try my level best to get along with my in-laws.
i have been lucky that they are all very loving and i have never had any problem with them. The reason is also that my husband warns me before hand which topics to stay clear of, and how to react and respond in some difficult situations with my in-laws. and this has worked so far.

yup i talk to my gf's mom once in awhile on the phone and she (her mom) adores me =)
