I don't because you are right, there is no point of reading that if its already over and the decision's been made.

Resolved Questions can be a very useful place.

If one is looking for a specific bit of information, it is helpful to search there to see if it has already been answered.

If the answers given are not exactly what one is looking for, it is a good starting place for composing a question that might elicit the most complete response.

It's an archive that a person can look through. I don't find it pointless at all. I especially like to look through it in this section, because the questions and answers are usually humorous.

I do when I have the same question, and sometimes when the questions are interesting or funny, I like to read the resloved ones...
