Good question and been asked before as there is a formula to work it out depending on the height of ur eye level. For example if the cliff is only 20 feet hight the horizon would be 5.227926931394509 nautical miles away. And if the cliff was 200 ft high then the horizon would be 16.532156544141483 nautical miles away. How do I know this? Check the link below is a useful tool to work the distance out used by people who sail the sea. The formula is.
1.17 times the square root of your height of eye = Distance to the horizon in nautical miles. Hope that helps.

Everything depends on your height and the height of the cliff.
If you're 5 feet tall and the cliff is 30 feet high, then the total height would be 35 feet. Divide that by 0.5736 (..a number that has to do with Earth's curvature). That equals about 61. Finally, find the square root of 61 and you've got how far away the horizon is -- 7.8 miles.

Depends on how high off the water you are.if you were at sea leval you would see the very top of a 81 foot lighthouse for instance, 14.04 nautical miles away although the horizon is only 3.51 miles away.

From 330 feet up, you can see 22 miles. The higher up you go, the farther you can see. How far you can see, depends on the curvature of the earth and altitude.

It depends on the height of the cliff. At see level, you are restricted by the curviture of the earth and it is therefore less than any height. I recall it being approximately 12.3 miles

63 seems to ring a bell for some odd reason. But I guess it would depend on how high the cliff is.
