I was at a yard sale yesterday morning, and while digging around in a box of odds and ends, came across the August 31, 2003 issue of Baseball America ( Magazine ). Inside, on page 21, are two autographs ( signed with a black sharpie ), those of Chase Utley and Marc Bombard. I'm quite certain that the autographs are genuine because someone has attached a note with a paper clip that reads: INSIDE AUTOGRAPHED BY PG. 21 CHASE UTLEY ( PHILLIES ) & MARC BOMBARD. Don't know who Marc Bombard is either. Utley is in a minor league uniform. Anyway, just wondering if anyone was familiar with these names.

Chase Utley is the Phillies new secondbasemen. He is a real up-and-coming star. He had a hitting streak this past season that was quite long (can't recall the exact number). He's a very good player who looks to have a super career ahead of him.

Marc Bombard was a career minor league player -- mostly in the Cincinnati farm system when he was a player. He later became a coach in the Reds organization developing their minor leagures. He was let go with the Reds and was picked up to do the same thing for the Phillies.

I do not know who Marc Bombard is. Chase Utley is the stud second baseman for the Phillies. He was an all-star this year and had a 35 game hit-streak. He figures to be a perennial all-star for years to come.

Utley is the star second baseman for the Phillies, so I'm sure that would give the magazine some value. I'd definitely keep it around for a while.

Marc Bombard is the first-base coach for the Phillies, and he was also Utley's manager at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

You obviously don't follow baseball that much. Chase Utley, along with Ryan Howard, emerged as a star this year for the Phillies. As mentioned before he hit in 35 straight at one point in 2006.

Chase Utley is the 2nd baseman for the Phillies. I have no idea WHO Bombard is, probably still a minor leaguer.

Chase Utley is 2b for the Phillies and has gotten a lot of attention the past couple years. Hope you scooped it up. As for Marc
Bombard he is a coach but I'm not sure with what team. Maybe
the Phillies, too or it could be Mariners.
