does it make make girls seem to needy if they ask guys out? should girls just wait for guys to ask them?

well I wouldn't have a problem with it but some boys do.You should try to learn more about him and see if hes the kind of boy that wouldn't mind a girl asking him or if hes one of those really macho guys who would be embarrassed.

That is the dumbest question ever. If you like a guy why wait they might be too shy to ask you out so i say to hell with that ask him out.It makes you look like you know what you want not needy.

I am a guy, and I think its awesome if the girl would take the pressure off the guys for once. If you like a guy, you should just ask him out.

well I'm shy and have a hard time making the first move so i actually prefer girl's who make the first move but all guy's are different

you don't have to ask him directly like 'do you want to go out with me this Saturday?'
say something like ' my friend told me that the new movie is very nice n i have not had the chance yet to watch it, may be you would like to come along?' if he is still can get what you mean then hard luck !
Anyway even if you do ask him out directly, i don't see any problem with that, if you are uncomfortable with this then, get another girl to come along, saying ' me n Lucy are going for movie , would you like to join us?' good luck !
