Since circumference equals 2 times the radius times pi, work the problem backwards.
40000000 = 2(3.14)r so divide both sides by 6.28 (2*3.14 = 6.28)

That will get you the radius for the first one. And you can do the same thing for the other circumference.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

The circumference of the circle = 2 Pi r
where Pi = 3.1416
r = is the radius in meters
Solving for radius,
r = circumference of circle/(2x3.1416)
r = circumference of circle/6.2832
Then directly substitute the values of circumference on the above equation to find the radius.
Go and try it.
