Try joining some websites specifically for twins. You can get a lot of support and information from women who have twins as well. I've included some links to 2 sites that help me :)

http://www.twinstuff.com
http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-psm...

You can also contact your local Twin Club (may be called Multiple Birth Society) They usually have a someone who is a support person.

Dont be afraid to ask for help, and never turn any help down. Having 2 babies is tough and although it can be humbling to ask or even accept help from friends or family members, it is well worth it.
Having a schedule helps too (in regards to feedings and bedtimes) and a routine. For example, my 4 month old twins have a routine where they are bathed every night before their last feeding at bed time, this helps them relax and they seem to understand that when they get a bath, this means it is time to eat and be off to bed.

Rest assured that as the babies get older, it does get easier. It will always be tough, being a mother to just one baby is tough, but it does get easier

Good luck :)

I nanny for 2 year old triplets, so I know that taking care of kids, let alone multiples, is extremely hard! Here are a few tips:

It helps if they are on a schedule during the day, depending on how old they are (maybe beginning by age one). Having play time at a park, a kids museum, a farm, the library is very important because it gives them a change of scenery, and they can get some energy out that way. Having an afternoon nap is good for them also, and it will give you a chance to relax, take a bath, read, etc.

It helps to stay organized, too. You'll be less stressed and have a better relationship with your children that way. Goodluck to you!

Take time for yourself away from the children, even an hour helps. And do something only with your husband or partner without the kids. Then you'll be in a better frame of mind to get through the tough times of raising twins.

i'd say your a notably permissive mom and now you're paying the cost for no longer putting down the guidelines whilst they have been 3 years previous. you could initiate youthful no longer whilst they initiate college. they are going to be rather hellonwheels in Kindergarten in case you dont' set down rules that say in case you dont' do what I say you would be punished.. and make the punishment fit the crime, in the event that they run out in the line, or placed their finger in an electric socket or walk far flung from you in a save they want a swat they are endangering their very own lives. yet whilst they gained't bypass to mattress at 7pm.. then cause them to bypass to be at 6:30 and tack on extra beneficial in the event that they gained't do what's sturdy. Get inventive you have been a parent for 5 years what have you ever been doing all that factor???

I dunno, sell one? You do have a spare.

But seriously though, try to find some time for yourself during the day. Even if you can carve out 15-30 minutes to take a bath, put on some make-up, or watch a TV show, it'll go a long way toward maintaining your sanity.

I think you should get someone to help you. Like someone you can really trust to be around you babies. If you have a job then put them in daycare.
