Did you like them, and were they comfortable?

There is no difference between colored and clear contact lenses as far as comfort. If you have dark eyes, you will have many more colors to choose from. People with light eyes can only wear color enhancers, which pretty much only includes blue, green and aqua, and the color usually just blends in with your own eye color and is not really that noticable. If you have light eyes and try to wear the colors for dark eyes such as amber, violet and grey, they look flat and are very obviously fake.

The only problem I have with my colored lenses (I have green ones and blue ones) is that I only feel safe wearing them during the day. For some reason, they seem to alter my night vision and driving becomes more difficult because my depth perception seems to be slightly off when wearing the contacts. Don't know if it's the fact that they are colored lenses and therefore have the potential to interfere with my peripheral vision, or if it's just that they are contacts, period. But there's definitely a difference in night vision between the contacts and my glasses. Just a heads up.

there is no difference between colored lenses and clear ones as far as fit goes. I have dark brown eyes (& hair) and before my lasik surgery, my fav was my purple ones. I got so many compliments on them. I wore purlple for about 5 years, but also blue and green as well before that. Check em out!!

They were great. My eyes are green and I went with green ones still (they were free when I bought my regular pair - didn't intend on buying them) I preferred them to the regular pair. I could actually see them if I dropped them.

carefull not to get ones that just don't match

eg. if you have a very dark or middle-eastern complexian don't go with bright blue.

but go for something noticable - otherwise there is no point spending the extra money!
