It's safe... I ate the homemade cheesecake from a place nearby us many times throughout my pregnancy and our daughter is a perfectly healthy 9 month old.
Enjoy!

you should eat healthy when your pregnant. And every now and then you can have some as a treat for yourself.oh also if your not careful and you eat too much during your pregnancy you might get diabetes. Because when your pregnant there's a high chance you get diabetes, but dont worry most of the time it goes away after you have the baby.

I think it shouldbe OK
I think its unpasteurised dairy and cheese products you're not supposed to eat because of the risk of Listeria - things like unpasteurised milk, Feta cheese, and blue veined cheeses like Stilton etc.
Cream cheese (such as Philadelphia) is OK and thats whats in Cheesecake as far as I know.
I feel bad because I 've eaten Feta Cheese a few times not knowing it was "forbidden"! But my baby seems fine so no harm done. I love Feta cheese and can't wait to be able to eat it again!

Yes you can eat cheese cake. When I was pregnant my doc told me that, generally I should give in to my cravings if I wanted to be in a better mood :) Moderation is always good and if you have serious doubts consult your doctor.

It's fine to eat cheese cake as long as it does not contain any unpastuerised soft cheese. Philadelphia and the like are fine.

I don't see why not i just know that you have to watch out for shellfish, chocolate, and caffine. Myself i loved cheese cake while i was pregnant... my child, aside from being built like a brick turned out just fine

It depends. Cooked cheesecake should be ok. Cake made with raw eggs should be avoided - salmonella for instance. In addition, some prepared foods carry listeria which can be a risk. If in doubt make your own!!!

Eat away! The only things to avoid are unpastureised cheese, fresh mayonnaise - who eats that? and pate because of the jelly surrounding it. Also avoid seafood.
