why is it when you FINALLY find the guy that is perfect for you everyone seems to not be able to be happy for you. No anwsers about how there is somthing wrong I don't see. He is lawfully employed, has his own place, is my age, and so fine my lesbian sister said she'd sleep with him. Why isn't any one happy for me?

Maybe they're not unhappy for you, but are not happy in and of themselves, and that's why they can't express their happiness. And the reality of it is that maybe no one expected you to fall in love and are now examining themselves and their sense of happiness. Hopefully, they will come around. If not, fill your life with positive people who will be happy for you.

Some people are not capable of being happy with themselves or others. If you are happy and not hurting anyone (including yourself) don't let someone's jealousy make you unhappy. I found the "right" guy when I was 15, no one was happy but us. I decided to keep him. 30 Years later we are still happy and they all came around. Congrats.

because everyone wishes they were you and maybe people aren't used to seeing you happy or maybe ur spending time with ur new guy instead of ur friends and they feel a little left out because maybe you spent a lot of itme with them before.

i don't know why... maybe people around you are cynical. i know i'm a non-believer in marriage, and 'love' is really just a chemical reaction in the brain. basically, when people say they're in love, it means they're addicted to the hormones they're making, and that people who actually stay together last because their friendship is strong, not because of romantic love.
but i'm always happy when i find one of my friends says they're in love. i miss that feeling, too. have fun!

your right. no one is happy either because they are jealous or bc they arent lucky like you and dont have someone, or possibly recently had their heartbroken
