My 3 friends and I want to go somewhere warm this December/January like Bahamas or somewhere...where can we go that will cost less than $500 with air?? From SLC

You are kidding right? This will not happen. $500.00 with air come on now. First off Dec/Jan is high season and you would be lucky to pay just $500.00 for JUST air let alone with hotel. In fact you couldn't do this even if it was hurricane season!
I respect if you only have so much to spend, but unfortunately you need to be realistic and this isn't even close to being realistic. You are talking a drive somewhere yourself vacation and use that money for hotel and gas.
Again, this will never happen on what you are saying you are willing/able to spend.
Travel Industry is changing, last min. deals will be slim to none guys for winter travel. This is being done intentionally by not running as many flights, thus avoiding them having to discount to fill seats. Those of you this year that wait last min. are going to be most likely sorely disappointed when you not only don't get a good price, but you don't go.
Sorry if this isn't the answer you wanted to see, but someone has to give you the honest truth instead of just throwing out places that you what sounds like you will not even be able to afford.
