It said,
"Solve these problems with any method."
So I decided to solve the problems using matrix, which I learned from my friends but did not learn in class yet.
I got the correct answer but she totally marked the question wrong.
Out of 100%, she took off 14% because I solved it by using matrix even when it said I could use any method.
I told her that I did it with using matrix and showed her the instruction where it said solve with any method.
However, she refused to change my grade.
I honestly don't feel it is fair.
I mean, come on, I had the correct answer.
If I had that correct, I would have got 94%, but she took off 14% and got 80%.
Can I sue her or something?
What can I do about this?

Sounds to me like you are correct but your teacher is stubborn...you could bring it to a department head, but in the long run, it sounds like this teacher is going to remember that. If the difference between the 94 and 80 isn't going to affect your final grade too much, I would just let it roll off your back...it isn't fair, but life isn't fair all the time...be the bigger, and better, person...if it will have a large impact on your final grade, bring it to someones attention...

Sue her? Wow. Yeah, no.
She's just being stubborn, or maybe just wants to keep you on the pace as the class.
If it really bothers you that much, talk to the head of the math department.

I know my physics teacher gives few points for the correct answer only, she mostly counts the process you use. If you do not know the correct process, she'll fail you.

You definitely can't sue her. You might take it to the head of the department (or principal, depending on if you're in high school or college), and see if you can contest the grade you got.

what you need to do is talk to the teacher and explain your method of thinking. if you can prove that you had the right answer and didn't guess he or she should give you the points

Stick with something you've learned already in class.

Talk to the head of the department...maybe he can do something.

try a good, hard slap, preferably around the face.

on the other hand, this may be unwise
