Over the past few years they've made it to the playoffs, but never get past it. Do you think they'll succeed soon? (maybe as long as they don't play those damn Yankees!)

I think they have a great chance this year. They just swept the Twins, and now they'll play the Tigers, and Kenny Rogers (who is excellent in Oakland) will not pitch game 1 or at all in Oakland.
I'm rooting for the A's!

Well they don't have to play those damn Yankees this year;
They have to get past Detroit and I think they probably will.

i would say that they definately have a shot this season. they have already got through one series. they just have to beat the tigers and they are in. and by the way, they wont have to play the yankees, they are already out of it.
