Remember when Yorkshire tried to campaign for its own government (see http://www.telegraph.co.uk/htmlContent.jhtml?html=/archive/1999/03/18/nyor18.html for more info.) What ever happened to that? Do they still have a website or is there still even a campaign? Just wondering... they had there own flag and everything!

Yeah. I'm glad it got nowhere. Imagine having to show your passport to get to see some of the best cricket, and drink some of the best beer in the world?

I think the Yorkshire flag should have a picture of Freddie Truman's bum...

No chance. And i reckon that Downing street has already regretting giving Scotland it's own government. Not going to make that mistake again, now are they?
