For example: That damn "London Bridge" song that Fergie whines on played around 2:00 and then they just played it again just recently! It's not just this song either, but all of the recent popular songs get played out by this damn station. I can't change the station either because I'm @ work.

Sorry, had to vent. lol

Oh I know instead of playing the same songs over and over they should play some older songs too like not really really old like 80's but maybe go back 5 years or so and mix those in that'll leave a larger gap between songs and we wont get tired of them so quickly. For example Beyonce they know people love her so they play her songs like 4 times in an hour that is so frustrating make us crave a song. Make us call in and request to hear it because we miss it.

I know what you mean, the one I listen to I think has them looped, I swear when I come in in the morning and turn on my radio at work, sexy back is on like clockwork at 8am! then at 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, 9:15,.....you get the point!
Ok, maybe a small exageration, but not by much and I HATE that song!

Radio is now money-driven, and there are certain stations that have a programmed format to play the Top 40 over and over and over again. Drives most people nuts but I bet the younger crowd, who cares more about the Top 40 and who wins on American Idol than what's happening in the Middle East, keeps tuning in...

i don't know but its damn annoying. when i first heard the new killers single i was '' ka, wow this is the best song all year'' and after hearing it a million times on the radio i can't bear to listen to it on the cd. I now skip that track!

They do it because the record companies pay them to do it!! They get money for playing songs more often......
