Im thinking about going to asia, ,,,whats the cheapest safest country i can live in for a while? I`ve lived overseas alot when i was in the military and I`m use to being away.But I want to see asia,, whats the cheapest safest country?

Go live in rural China for a while... lot's of culture there. Try Chendu or Zhengzhou. Stay south of the Huang He, but out of the large cities whenever possible. Start in Shanghai and build up supplies and money, then travel out and find someone who will take you in if you work their land or house with them. Easy life...

The only place I've been in Asia is Korea. The crime rate is extremely low, but they make up for it in traffic accidents. I thought the Korean people were the greatest. Prices aren't very low.

Malaysia is safe. It isn't the cheapest but is still cheaper than living in a western country. Singapore is pretty expensive, relative to other asian countries.
