Well, nearly everybody uses one hand for their forehands (a few exceptions exist). So, I'll assume you're main point of concern is the backhand. I use a two-handed backhand. I like it for the control it gives me, and I have developed it into a powerful attacking shot. One-handed backhands are more versatile. It's harder for your opponent to be able to guess where or how you'll hit the ball. Many people think that the two strokes are the same, one just has an extra hand on it, but this is not the case. The one-handed obviously uses the dominant arm for most of the power. But the two-handed will actually use the non-dominant arm. It's the dominant hand that's there just for stability.

Before just buying a racquet, demo one first. Go to your local racquet store and ask about demoes and they will set you up. Also the most expensive racquet wont always be the best. I have an old Head Radical that I still use. If you actually know what you're talking about then look into Babolat. I have a Pure Drive Team Oversize Plus. I personally reccomend it but all racquets are different to everyone.

Forget the racquet.
The only real way to produce controllable power is to improve your technique. Your money will be best spent taking PRIVATE lessons from a good Tennis Instructor.

Try a prince racket. This is my second year playing, but prince is the best choice for intermediate. Wilson is probably not the best, not for beginners.

well i only use prince but try one of the o3 series
and in wilson do not try the n-code
but mainly its ur strings that give you more power, the lower the tenison of your string the more power but the less control you will get
