Gilmour hands down!
But I suppose that would depend on one's taste in music.
Think he has more feeling in his music!

Dave Gilmour is undoubtedly one of the best solo guitarists in the world, but you only have to listen to Brian May's rendition of the National Anthem played from the top of Buckingham Palce during the celebrations for the Queen, to realise just what hair on the back of your neck really means. I do a little DJ'ing and when I play that as a final record EVERYBODY, no matter what age, gets up and sings!

Neither are the best as such, but they both have a very distinctive style of playing. I find most of Queen's catalogue of songs quite cheesy, Pink Floyd are I think a much more interesting affair, so Mr Gilmore wins.
