Implantation bleeding... I was on BC for 2 and 1/2 years and stopped taking them at the end of the pack (not including the last week) on July 2 had my period on August 2. I had unprotected sex like normal (I didn't expect to get pregnant but if it happened it happened). Then on Aug. 30th I would have gotten my period but since I just came off BC I guess I didn't but I took a HPT and it was negative. Then on Oct. 3rd I got crampy and started spotting brownish w/ some pink and red, only when I wipe not. This went on for about 3-4 days. Now my question is was that my period and it was light like that b/c it was my first since my BC or was it implantation bleeding. Before BC I had a very normal period. Serious answers only!!

I had the same thing happen to me. Last month I had my "period" for 2 days and that was it. Now i am having some pregnancy symptoms. It might be impantation bleeding, or your periods are just adjusting.. your hormones may be balancing. I would take a test and see what it says. Thats what I'm doing tonight... wish me luck!

it can take a long time for your periods to get back to normal... and implantation bleeding is actually rare. Getting off birth control can cause all sorts of wierd things to happen... your best bet i know this is simple, but they have 1 dollar test at the dollar general and i found out on that 4 days before i missed my period... so just take another test... i would just relax take the test... it should definately show up on a hpt by now

It was probably a period but I would take another home pregnancy test. I would call your Dr.
