How do you post pictures on someone's website?

I've been told that you have to have someone "host" your pictures. Can't I do this through Yahoo's Geo Cities?

Go to www.photobucket.com and make an account, then upload an image. Then you will receive a paste code for that pic., You can copy that code and past it on some ones page, I.e. MySpace. Its pretty simple.

Yes you can and you already have a Geocities account, it is the same as your Yahoo account. Just go to www.geocities.com and log in using your Yahoo Id and password.

go to www.flickr.com and then upload the pictures.
